Membership in the Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association (SSMSA) gets you involved at the local, state, and international levels of this family recreational activity.

The elected board members of SSMSA are continually working to maintain and improve our local trails. They work closely with private landowners, city, county, state, and federal officials, and local businesses to improve trail access.

SSMSA is responsible for brushing, signing, and grooming 63 miles of trails in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.

Your membership in SSMSA includes membership in the Michigan Snowmobile Association (MSA). This state organization works continually to preserve our right to enjoy our chosen recreation. MSA is an integral part of the national organization, American Council of Snowmobile Associations (ACSA), which in turn is part of the International Snowmobile Congress (ISC). These organizations give you a voice with legislators and have been instrumental in keeping access to state and federal lands open to snowmobiling. They continue to work for your benefit.
