Snowmobile Safety Class is a free service offered annually
by SSMSA
Rider Safety Training is another of the many important functions your local snowmobile club performs.
Every year the SSMSA "grooms" future generations
of snowmobilers to be concientious, safety-minded snowmobile operators in our DNRE accredited Safety Classes.
An intensive, all-day instruction session utilizing lecture, demonstration, and video/power-point materials, helps prepare
area youngsters
|
to safely and sensibly operate a snowmobile. In addition
to extensive safety training by SSMSA President
Martin Cottle, local students are given instruction by officers from Sault Ste. Marie
Fire Department EMS, Sault Ste. Marie City Police Department and Michigan DNRE.
